Rebuilding Behind the Scenes: My Quiet Work as a Podcast Coach
It’s been quiet on my feed, but not in my world. As a podcast coach and founder of Podcast to Inspire, I’ve spent the past few months behind the scenes, guiding a powerful group of aspiring women podcasters. This recent cohort reminded me why I started: to help women step into their power, share their stories through podcasting, and be heard in spaces where their voices matter. But while I was pouring into others, I realized I had to start pouring back into myself, too.
Recently, I’ve been carrying a lot. Emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I had to pause and get real with myself. I’ve been doing the deep work of letting go of what no longer serves me, making room for what truly aligns. That process hasn’t been glamorous, but it’s been a form of healing.
And in that healing, I’ve been focusing on my mental health, my wellness, and finding balance between showing up for others and showing up for myself.
Something that I’ve rarely admitted is that social media is not my comfort zone. But as a podcast coach, I encourage every woman I mentor to speak up, get visible, and stretch beyond what’s familiar.
So, I’m holding myself to the same standard. Visibility is part of the work. It’s uncomfortable sometimes, but necessary. Because when we show up fully, we create room for others to do the same. Even when it’s messy. Even when we’re still figuring it out.
Behind the scenes, I’ve also been working on new projects, intentional spaces that will serve as a platform for authenticity, healing, and impact. A space where your voice doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be yours. I can’t wait to share more soon.
This season of quiet has been about more than strategy or business goals. It’s been about wellness, not just physical, but emotional. I’ve had to ask hard questions. Reconnect with myself. Honor my rhythms. Balance isn’t a fixed state. It’s a practice. One, I’m committed to protecting as I continue to grow.
So here I am, stepping back into the light. With a clearer mindset, a stronger foundation, and a deep belief in the power of voice. I love being a coach and mentor, and I am grateful for the medium of podcasting.
If you’re an entrepreneur, creative, or coach trying to juggle growth, visibility, and your own mental health, know this: you’re not alone. This journey is both a challenge and a gift. Thank you for walking this path with me.💫
